COMPLETE CONTROL

Have you totally, fully, wholly surrendered your life to God? Until you do, God’s leading cannot be obtained. Make Jesus Christ the Lord over your life right now. Don’t just sit around and wait for God to guide you, take foot and go to Him. Show God you are responsible to receive His leading. Put full confidence in Him. Giving up control is not a sign of weakness, but of strength. Give God Complete C.O.N.T.R.O.L. over your life.

Creation—You have been created to complete a specific work for the Lord. Living for God will not only change who you are, it will enhance the God that is within you. So, put yourself at the mercy of God to shape His Will in and through you. (Ephesians 2:10)

Opportunity—Once endowed with your calling, you will receive many occasions to sharpen your skills. Watch for all opportunities to use your calling to glorify God. Even if you have one talent, use it to the best of your power and might. (1 Peter 4:10)

Never negate your gift—It’s not what calling you have; it’s how you use it. It was never yours to begin with, it belonged to God; He is using you to show the world who He is. Think of this blessing as you being the only one that can present God to the world the way He needs you to. (Ephesians 4:7)

Trust God—Dissatisfaction is a sign that you are out of place, but God would not put you somewhere to be miserable. Trust Him. Psalm 57:2 says, "I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.” Trust the Lord to position you perfectly to serve Him in an imperfect world.

Relationships—Proverbs 18:16 says “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” God’s gift in you is given not to the pleasing of men, but for the furtherance of the borders of His kingdom. The relationships you make in your calling are made to give God glory and bring us closer together in Him.

Out of Control—Pay attention to yourself and place your life in God’s hands. Give Him complete control over where you are headed. An out of control soul needs an in control God to lead them in this world. Empty yourself of yourself so you can be beneficial and useful for the Lord. (Psalm 37:23)

Love—Love with everything that’s in you. Your purpose and calling filled with love can lead you straight to greatness. Showing your love for God through your work will bring fulfillment to your life. (1 John 4:7-12)

God’s purpose is evident and won’t change. Your calling is within you. You can shine even if the day brings trial or if God’s love smiles on you. At this point, all that’s left is to give your heart, your mind, your body, and your soul over to God to use, as He will. He knows what He is doing. He is in charge and sees in us, what we sometimes fail to see in ourselves. So Trust Him. Let’s give Him Complete Control over our lives today.

Scriptures to reflect on:

Psalm 37:4
Matthew 25:14-30
Romans 8:27-31
