RALLY UP

Nancy Leigh DeMoss once stated, "I am convinced that the influence of an army of godly women will be incalculable--in our homes, our churches, and our culture. Will you be one of those women?” The scriptures go on to say, “a three-stranded cord is not easily broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12).

Have you ever been in a room full of women of God? How did you feel? Were you uplifted? Did their smiles widen your smile? Did their love begin to exude through you? When we are unified we think the same things that God thinks and work together as a family of believers. We can affirm that God prefers when His ladies are in unity. He desires that we stand strong not only to build up one another, but also to create a network of influence in the church and community that cannot be measured.

Start where you are and work your way out.

A great way to start the New Year is by being surrounded by a spiritually influential group of ladies. They may come from your church, they may be in your exercise group, or you may have a trusted sister-friend from work. Wrap yourself up in a web of wise women of God. Choose wisely who to rally up with though, for scripture warns us of evil communications (1 Corinthians 15:33). What good is it to make positive changes in your life when those around you are not? So, get around some people who are working towards heaven like you.

Rally up with some sisters who will hold you accountable, pray with you, and support you. It’s time for a network of godly women to rebuild our communities. It’s time for an influential female voice to support the works of the ministry through prayers, evangelizing, and service.

Will you be one of those women?

  1. Amen....this is such a great and encouraging message ! Too many times in life we associate ourselves with "ungodly" women, and of course the end-result in most of the cases (from my experience), has been a "disaster."

I have been going through a sad and most difficult experience for the past two weeks and have been asking God in prayers to help me release my pain & misery and to forgive....and move on with better company in 2012 !

This year, I have vowed to become a better christian (in practical terms) and to submit wholly to the will of God ! Additionally, to pray for my spouse, children & first grandchild....to commit their lives fully to God. To work on a better and godly relationship with my mum, siblings, inlaws, nieces and nephews......

Thank Father for this timely reminder from S.W.A.P. Ministries.....Bless U all - Ruci

  4. Thank you so much for the midweek push. It definitely inspired me to do more. I have sat back and let others do the majority of the work. I have always been the passenger in affairs of the church. I now want to step up even further. Not for my own merit, but for others.

  5. ‎Devona, we must start! It begins with us, individually! We must be the change we want to see! The question we often ask is "How can we make a difference for Jesus?" Let's use this lesson as a motivator to help us unify one with another!

Shameka, it brings us great joy to know that you are stepping up your commitment to Christ!! We are just thankful that God was able to use us to get the message out. Believe us when we say, these lessons pick us up & turn us around, all before they are even released! We will be praying for you and continuing to encourage you as you activate your faith! We are proud of your commitment & desire to be a better woman of God, friend, and a sister in Christ!
