31 DAYS OF PEACE

We recently let everyone know that we would be starting another 31 Day series! We are thrilled to say that from May 1, 2012 – May 31, 2012 we will dig deep into God’s Word and do 31 Days of Peace. We are praying that this will be a time of deepening your relationship with God.

Each day in May we will read a scripture that focuses on peace. We ask that you don’t just read the scripture once and be done, but read it a few times, write it down, and say it aloud. Meditate on the passage in the morning; carry it with you throughout your day; and also read it again before you go to bed, so that you are reminded all day of the peace of God in your life. When you understand the peace of God in your life, you will begin to live out that peace with purpose!

There are no situations that God cannot calm down. If He can calm the sea, then He can definitely calm you! There is nothing too big or too small that the Lord doesn’t have His hands on. He sees you when you’re in frenzy, confused, or in the midst of chaos. Your situation and your life deserve peace and He is ready and able to grant it to His child!

As much as we would like to get together, everyday and share and indulge in scripture, it is our hope that although we are not face to face, that we can interact on the blog and on Facebook and share what God is laying on our hearts through these scriptures. Each day ask yourself:

1) Do I truly desire to have peace?
2) What am I focusing on more than the peace that is mentioned in this passage?
3) What did I learn about peace from this passage?
4) How can I apply this passage to my life today?

The purpose of this 31 Day journey is to draw us closer to God and the peace He provides. So, let’s do this together; realizing that peace is something that we all need and desire. Let’s get ready for 31 Days of Peace! ☺
