YOU ARE FREE

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." (Galatians 5:1, 13)

What is this passage teaching me about how God sees me?

  1. I am, we are free.. not for a moment but for always and forevermore. Not entrapment, entangled, bewildered or burden but relaxation, privilege, release. Let us be set free today and to free others. Let us love each other and build each other up.

  2. God knows us better than we know ourselves he has numbered the hairs on my head. Kids will be kids we make mistakes but with the help of The Holy Spirit guidance&love He will see us as heirs adopted & bought with a mighty cost. If we dont accept His free will offering we will surely be painfully destroyed overcome by evil. I truely walk to walk with Our Lord & Savior He is pure&Holy I want to be like Him I will pray without ceasing strive till my dying day to be pleasing but I will only be saved by His grce & forgiveness by His mighty TRUE LOVE

  3. Liberty presents is an opposite temptation from legalism.. A person can be tempted to view freedom in Christ as a selfish opportunity for the flesh.. In other words an opportunity to do whatever one wants to do but true Christian liberty is the freedom to serve one another in love..

    1. Amen, Bernice, it is definitely true that we should not get freedom in Christ confused. It shouldn't be taken advantage of, it's something we should be thankful for everyday that we are IN Christ. It also lets us know that we are not under the law any longer.

  4. (from Melanie) I am not free to do as I please, but Free to serve God as He wills. I am not bound by the old law, but I am under the mighty grace of God! Because He has given me this liberty, I must use it to love others.
