YOU ARE SEATED WITH CHRIST

"And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" (Ephesians 2:6)

How will I apply this passage to my everyday life?

  1. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ. Those who are in Christ are blessed much spiritually than before who were dead in sins physically.

  2. Today's scripture, fills me with such excitement and anticipation. It's so great to know that we will be seated with our Father in Heaven one day. To be in the presence of my Father who blessed me so greatly while I was on earth, wow it is going to be the greatest privilege I have ever had. To meet the One who laid down His life for me.

I live each day as if it were my last. Doing my best to walk the walk at all times, and not just talk the talk. Living a life that is pleasing unto God is not always easy, but it sure it worth it.

Have an awesome day and blessed week.

    Blessings

    1. Jean, it's great hearing the excitement that the word gives you, especially knowing that we can reside in heaven one day with our Lord! It's a calming, reassuring thought to know that we can spiritually place our minds above, seeing things with spiritual sight and awaiting the day to meet Him in the air! We don't talk enough about heaven, but we should!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on living each day as if it were your last! What an encouragement you are to us...

  3. (From Melanie) Reading this verse immediately reminded me of Colossians 3:2, where it says "set your mind on things above." Many issues of my life here on earth may keep me feeling low, useless, afraid, but in Christ, I have no reason to feel this way. My mind should be placed in heavenly places where I am spiritually positioned. God created me to think more highly of myself. I am raised above life's trivial matters and I can apply this to my everyday life by asking myself the question, "Where am I placing my mind today?"
