YOU WERE WORTH DYING FOR

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (1 John 4:10)

How will I apply this passage to my everyday life?

  1. Anything we love, we seek it. When a man love a woman, he initiate the first step for her to receive him. We did not go after God (due to ignorance of our desire to sin), but God seek us by exhibiting sacrificial love towards us. He is not a shy type of guy. While we were still sinners God made the move to proclaim, provide and protect (rescue, save) us. Thank you Lord!

  3. We should all continue to love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. I'm so glad we are discussing this scripture. Earlier today I was talking to my fellow Bible Study classmate about the love of God. God's love is Agape Love. God sacrificed his son for us to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God. I'm so blessed God has so much love for me, without his love I don't know where would I be.

  4. (from Melanie) How much more worthy can I feel knowing God's Son paid the penalty for my life. That is true love! I can keep this in my mind if ever I find myself feeling unworthy for any reason. Not that I loved God, but HE LOVED ME so much more! What an honor to be redeemed. True love from a pure sacrifice. Thank you Jesus!
