"But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine." (Isaiah 43:1)

How will I apply this passage to my everyday life?

  1. Fear not, those are words of comfort which I keep in my mind every day. The Israelites were created and redeemed by the Lord just as I was created and redeemed by Him. He knows me by name so therefore I am His.

  2. Applying this to my life today means to me that I belong to God. That's good news!!

  3. Precious promises made to God's people in their affliction, of his presence with them, for their support under it, and their deliverance out of it. God gives us encouragement through his promises. God will deliver his people from any circumstance they are experiencing. God will never fail us and he never breaks his promises..

  4. To apply this in my daily life I have to remember that no matter what happens to me I belong to God and He has got me in His loving arms. His words let me know that He won't leave or Forsake me so I can relax that nothing will rise against me that my God will not see me through it. He called us His so He knows what we are facing.

  5. Our lord knows me. He formed me, created me. Our father knows my in's and out's, ups and downs, my thought patterns. Our master will keep me in the palm of his hand, he will protect me, he loves me. No matter what, nothing will come against me.

    1. Wow, can you imagine God looking into the palm of his hand and seeing your face? What a blessing to be known by, protected by, formed by, created by, and loved by God.

  6. (Melanie) Not only did He create me, he formed, and molded me...God took His time when making me. He knows my ins and outs. I belong to the Lord, so I should live as if I am not my own.
