31 Days of Power: Day 15

"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."
(1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

In what way(s) will I activate power in my life today?

  1. It doesn't matter my education or fluidness of speech, when it comes to talking about Christ, I should be led by the Spirit. What matters is if my words and teaching about Christ are Spirit-breathed and led. I should speak through God's power and no matter how educated I may seem the power lies in Christ to transform lives and bring peace and joy to others! I will activate power by realizing it's not about what I say, but how the Spirit works through me. It's not my eloquence, but rather the Spirit's intelligence that guides my speech!

  2. By looking to God for what I need.

  3. I will activate power today in my life by putting my trust in God, not myself! When I am called to talk about Christ, it doesn't have to be flattery or persuasive, it needs to be true and pure! When I remove my own thoughts, opinions, and ideas, God The Holy Spirt can speak through me rather than me having to come up with words to speak! That's power within itself...the fact that the Holy Spirt can give us the words to speak (Luke 21:15)!!!! As an ambassador of Christ, I must be led by the Holy Spirit, not by my own understanding. My speech should testify of God, not of my own wisdom. My speech should lead people to God, not try to build up my own personal fan base!

  4. Trusting in Jesus and not thinking I will be able to solve or fix things myself. Realizing HIS ways are far above my ways... HIS thought are greater than mine... And that he really does care for me. Empowered to share He that cares for me.
