POWER OF GOD'S KINGDOM

"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."
(1 Corinthians 4:20)

  1. I read a commentary that says "real religion, does not consist in words, but in the power of God ruling the heart." What I gather from this and also the passage is that God's kingdom (church) was established through His power. It was not mere words that produced it; the power in the saving blood of Christ, and the transformative leading/converting of the Spirit wrought out God's kingdom. I am thankful to be a part of God's church! It was God's power that produced me and made me His child; it just took me being obedient to His word and power!

  2. It is Not by might nor power but by my Spirit says the Lord. Zech 4:6 Kingdom ministry includes signs, wonders, and miracles that demonstrate the power of God.

  4. The kingdom of God is not just mere talk, it's real, it's what I live by! When words fade, the kingdom of God still stands!
