POWER OF LIVING WITH CHRIST

"For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God’s power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God’s power we will live with him in our dealing with you."
(2 Corinthians 13:4, NIV)

  1. That we live by God's power and by his power alone when we are weak he makes us strong. With him all things are possible! Glory be to God!

  2. Power is defined as God's mighty ability in me, giving me the mighty ability to live with Christ. Christ's death on the cross may have made Him look weak, like a feeble man, but He lives now, through His resurrection, by the power of God, which showed His complete divinity! I too can rise from the weakness of human flesh and live powerfully through God.

  3. At Christ's crucifixion, He was looked at as a weak man, but His resurrection showed His Divine power. Likewise, I may be looked at as weak to the world because of my obedience to live for Christ, but I gain strength by knowing that God, the Divine One, will give me power to live in this world.
