POWER OF CHRIST IN YOU

"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power;"
(Ephesians 1:18-19)

What is being spoken to me about power?

  1. Power in the verse 19 means great, dominion, vigor. Only when Christ has dominion in my life (and in the lives of believers) do I have access to all spiritual blessings. I can get them no other way. His power provides. His power fills me with a great supply of faith, strength, understanding, and hope! Christ in me supplies me with all I need and gives me all spiritual blessings in great abundance.

  3. Sometimes it's hard to understand just how much God loves me. I read this scripture as a prayer to open my eyes to see God's purpose for my life, to understand His grace and mercy, and to experience His power. This scripture gives me hope on this christian journey to realize that I have an inheritance waiting for me in heaven, all because I serve a God of love!
