  7. Power is described as the Holy Spirit working in me! This scripture is telling me that God works powerfully beyond whatever I go through; over whomever I depend on, in order to show His power in me. He is superfluous and superior in my life, so that means I need to place all that I am into the mighty power of all that He is! Because He is All That and Some!

It doesn't matter what I think about my life's situations, God is beyond powerful enough to exceed my imagination. If I can think it, then He is beyond that thought. If I can ask it, He is well equipped and efficient to answer with more than I've asked. It isn't my power that's at work, but the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT working in and through me!

  8. I'm encouraged by this verse because I'm a witness that God is able! As I look back over what He has brought me through, I see His power continuously exceeding my expectations. I know that whatever I ask for in prayer, or what I even think, or desire...God's power is able to accomplish even more than I can even comprehend! He is the God of more! Power in this passage is described as the miraculous workings of The Holy Spirit!
