POWER OF THE GOSPEL'S ASSURANCE

"For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."
(1 Thessalonians 1:5)

  5. The power of the gospel is miraculous! The original word describes power as an abundant ability. The gospel of Jesus Christ assures me of God's promises, obeying the gospel allows me to experience some of those promises on earth. The gospel is more than mere words, it is the power to save mankind!
