"To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
(1 Peter 1:4-5)

How is power described in this passage?

You Might Also Like

  1. It is because of God's power that I have any chance of seeing heaven. My faith in Him secures me a spot in heaven where I'll receive a never-ending, unfading inheritance. Thank you Lord for heaven (which also means power in it's original meaning). God has the ultimate power to protect my salvation. Though I may be surrounded by temptations and trials (v. 6) God exerts His power and protects me like a guarded fortress! I have nothing to fear, only faith to emanate each day!

  2. By his power God has a place for his people that we have to do his will in order to get the inheritance

    1. Yes indeed! We work for that inheritance! John 9:4. God is a gracious God to allow us to be joint heirs to the kingdom! Praise God today for His provision and protection! Amen!

  3. The power is through God's power and through my faith. I am born anew and being unfaded reserved for me in Heaven. Salvation that is ready to be revealed to me in the last time.

  4. Faith keeps me going! I press forward because I believe in what God has promised regarding the inheritance! I'm a joint heir to all that Christ has because of my obedience to the gospel! (I love how the 31 Days passages seem to confirm one another because on the 26 we talked about the power of the Gospel) That's what the Word of God says and it encourages me and empowers me to know that the afflictions (Day 27), the work, the persecutions, the spreading of the gospel while here on earth is not in vain! Faith keeps me connected to God!
