"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
(John 1:12)

In what way(s) will I activate power in my life today?

  1. I will activate power today by thanking God for all he has done and going to do in my life.

    1. Amen Candy! It is so refreshing to stop, pause, and thank God! He is so worthy of our praise and deserves all of it! Today, as your praise God, it is our prayer that you will be drawn closer to WHO He is and how He continues to love you each and every day! Activate that power to love others as Christ loves you! Somebody today needs to know about Jesus, let your life be the way they hear about Him!

  2. Just like those in Jesus' day had the power (privilege, authority, right) to receive Him (or not receive Him), I have that same right as someone who has never seen His face. This scripture reminds me that I don't have to see the Lord to believe on His name. I can obey His will and become His daughter. Plus, I can't keep saying I belong to Christ if I continue committing the same transgressions against Him; I must leave behind those things and cling to my Father. So today, I will activate power in my life by choosing Jesus. I choose to receive all that He is into my life today. HE is holy, so I will powerfully be holy; HE is a peacemaker, so I will powerfully speak peace to my neighbor and to those situations that try to ruffle my spirit. God deserves my complete praise today, I pray that I sacrifice my life to Him in a way that He is not ashamed to call me His child!

  3. When we became saved that gave us the ability to have powers that God granted us; I can activate this power in my life by knowing that whatever I ask in His name will be granted according to my faith; that I can lay hands on myself when I'm sick and recover and even others will be healed in Jesus name; and that by knowing that everything that He says that I am that I truly am and that is His daughter!!!

  4. Keep giving negativity the boot and encourage positivity not only for myself but for others.

  5. I am so thankful to be a child of God! I crave God's attention because He is my Father. This verse shows me that I can't be God's child without receiving Him through faith. The word power in this scripture refers to authority, influence, liberty, right, strength, and freedom! It truly pays to be be obedient and be added to the body of Christ! I'm activating power today in my life by sharing my Father with others!
