The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)

MIRROR MIRROR

Mirror Mirror on the wall…

You may be familiar with that line from the popular Snow White fairy tale, where the evil queen constantly looks herself in a magic mirror and asks, “Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” The mirror would always respond, “My Queen you are the fairest in the land;” because the mirror could not lie.

We have a question for you today. If your mirror could talk, what would it say about you? If your mirror could not lie, what would it reveal?

Would it say that you affirm that you are a child of God, created in His image?
Would it say that you affirm that you are full of joy, and extend joy to others?
Would it say that you affirm that you are breaking negative strongholds?

What would be revealed about how you look at yourself, what you think about yourself, how you talk to yourself?

Let's be real here, sometimes what we "think" about ourselves is not what we put off. Are you affirming negative words about yourself in the mirror, but putting on a front around others?

What you say to yourself once is just a thought. What you say to yourself twice is becoming a habit. What you say to yourself repeatedly becomes a lifestyle.

Don’t be deceived by satan; one thing about him is he’s usually wrong with his idea of what God thinks about you. He’ll tell you the lie that you’re ugly, fat, ruined, lazy, wounded…and you might believe it and speak that lie to yourself. DON’T!

If you want to start/keep breaking negative strongholds take a look at your thoughts and the words you speak! The power of life and death is on your tongue. What are you affirming over your life?

Affirm good things about yourself
Affirm victory over satan and his negative thinking
Affirm that God is in you, molding, healing, understanding, and leading you

It's time to speak power over your life. Look into the mirror of God’s word (James 1:25) and remember, God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19); so affirm the good things that He says about you!

Mirror mirror on the wall… I have the power to speak life today.
