And grieve not the holy Spirit of God...” (Ephesians 4:30)

“I’m not afraid anymore.” That’s a classic phrase from the movie Home Alone 1. Little Kevin was tired of hiding under the bed, tired of being fearful, and tired of running. He decided to do something about it. He went to his front door, opened it wide, and screamed to the top of his lungs, “I’m not afraid anymore.”

Fear keeps us in bondage, when the Spirit of God sets us free.

Have you ever felt the spirit inside of you grieving? Ever felt hopeless because you were unsure of how to respond to the grieving spirit? We’ve been there; you are not alone! We’ve been there when friendship ties seemed more powerful than your connection with God; where pulling away from friends would seem so hard. We’ve been there when it seems like to have courage to do what the Spirit is pricking your heart to do feels like a burden…a strain.

Guess what, we’ve learned that the longer we stay where the Spirit says no, the longer our spirit will be torn and broken...grieved.

Are you ready to let go of fear and move in courage? This Midweek Push is to encourage you to say no to fear and yes to faith! Sounds cliché but walking in faith is powerful whereas fear is binding and holding you captive. God needs you to move and that’s why He placed His Spirit in you! Fear comes when we don’t know the outcome, but the great news is that, God already does! He is ready to lead you where He needs you!

Don’t trust in your own direction today, place your trust in Him who knows all!

Are you ready to open the door to your past, to your career, to your place of worship, to your relationships, to your finances, to your depression, to your current location, to your procrastination, to your health or whatever you are experiencing where the Spirit has told you it’s time to move?

Face those “faith blockers” and scream to the top of your lungs, “I’m not afraid anymore!”
