30 Days of Waiting and Patience: Day 14

Saturday, September 14, 2013

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
(Isaiah 40:31)

Question Reflection:

Is there something that I’m dealing with that requires me to be patient?

  1. I think of this scripture and others like it many times when I am praying. Sometimes I pray for deliverance of things and if I wait on the Lord's timing, then it works out much better.

    1. This is a good scripture to think of when praying, Priscilla! God is so capable of deliverance and it's a blessing to hear that when you've waited on Him in the past, you've seen Him deliver in your life!

  3. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might recieve the promise, Hebrews 10:36. We must hold on and not waver, have faith, God is faithful, He never lies. He will do what He said in His word. We must be patient, it will be done in His timing not ours!!! For His timing is the right time!!!! Praise Him!!!!!

  4. This is one of my favorite Scriptures. I have this scripture hanging up in my cubicle at work and printed on my coffee cup. This scripture is a constant reminder that if I just wait on God, he will deliver. My Hope is in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Due to my imperfections I may stumble at times, but my God is there to pick me up. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed he will move mountains (Matthew 17:20). When we learn to wait on Him, we will see things shift in our lives. It's in God's time not ours. Ain't God Good.
