"So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer."
(2 Thessalonians 1:4-5)

  1. What I learned as I do my Christian walk, people will persecute you. What I love about this scripture is it teaches you about endurance during harassment. As long as I'm a child of God he will fight my battle. We as Christians are worthy of God kingdom. No matter what comes against his children it will not do us harm ( 1 Chronicles 16:22). I pray for those who despitefully use me or persecute me. My God is a Good God and worthy to be praised.

  2. We learn by realizing that Gods in control. As difficult as it may seem, we must learn to pray for people that persecute us and leave the situation with God as He said in His Word( Vengeance is mine). We must not avenge ourselves. God handles things the right way at the right time. We must pray and ask God to give us the patience to wait on Him while we are being persecuted by others, God will never let us down. What an Awesome God we serve!!!
