"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
(Revelation 14:12)

Question Reflection:

What is making it hard for me to wait on God in this situation?

  1. Sisters, I confess, that sometimes my fiery passion makes it hard for me to wait on the Lord. Instead of keeping His commandments at a time when my soul is overcome at some fault I can see in others, pouring out my passion to the Lord has not always been my first option. Opening my mouth in accusation, forgetting my own flaws in my narrow-minded focus on the specks of others has become an unfortunate habit and stronghold that must be demolished. If only I would bridle this tongue, I could conquer my spirit and give Christ the Victory. One thing I know to be true, whenever i wait on the Lord, He ALWAYS works things together for the good of all of His children. Please pray for my forgiveness, healing, and strengthening, that I may not toss aside my religion in favor of a "quick release" and instead bridle my tongue.

    1. Thank you for sharing with us Gyquetta! Your honesty and transparency is a Godsend! We pray that God will give you the passion to bridle your tongue and to speak in love, faith, and peace versus with a quick temper. The enemy has no say in how you are to live your life for God...!

  2. What this passage is teaching me is, we as children of God must learn to endure. We must learn to obey his commands and have faith in Jesus.
