Testimony Tuesday

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.” (Psalm 22:22)

A testimony is giving honor to the Lord by bearing witness (or providing evidence) to others about the work He has accomplished in your life. We want to impart to you some testimonies that some of our SWAPs have shared with us! We pray that the words that they declare of the Lord will serve as an encouragement and strength to you in your walk with the Lord.

Debra Gilliam – “I just want to give all the Glory and Honor to God for bringing me through tough situations in my life. Without Him I would not have made it.”

Philicia Reynolds – “If it had not been for the Lord working in my favor, I don’t know if I would have been able to share this testimony with you. Two years ago I was diagnosed with a health issue and thought my life was over. I was feeling broken, ashamed, and dirty. The Lord stepped in and he made it so that my doctor bills were low and also HE gave me a renewed sense of strength when I found out an aunt in my family suffered from the same disease and is now healthy! Thank God for his comfort and provision and even for peace of mind as I’m recovering and feeling well! If you’re going through something, he’ll be sure to bring you through it.”

Sharee Halpert – “I thank God for my new job! I was unemployed for the past couple of years and I was truly feeling worthless. I prayed and did my best to maintain my faith (I’ll be honest, those were years of lots of crying and doubting) and when I least expected it several job opportunities rolled in. I’m a testament to waiting on the Lord and he will bring good things into your life.”

We thank you Lord for the vulnerability and faith of our SWAPs, in opening up about precious moments in their lives where YOU delivered, comforted, and provided for them! What a great God you are! Let’s continue to praise the Father for all that He is and has done (and will do) in our lives ☺

If you would love to swap your testimony with us, feel free to send it (in 150-200 words) to swapideas2011@gmail.com and we will share it this month on our blog!

    1. Amen Sis. Bernetta! We know that every time we tell our stories the negative effects it has on us shatters in half. Our stories are not for us to remain the focus of, but to give God the ultimate GLORY! For it is HIS purpose that brings us through our storms and even gives us a voice to share His goodness. Thank you always, continually for your encouragement and love. It is definitely most needed and greatly appreciated. We pray God adds a extra special blessing to your life soon!
