"From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be upon your people." (Psalm 3:8, NIV)

Read more testimonies from some of our SWAPs! The words they share point back to our Father being an understanding and faithful deliverer. What a mighty God we serve!

Nedra Dozier – “I am thankful that God has carried me through the valley of completing my first semester of graduate school. I was a little apprehensive at first and I wanted to quit because the material seemed intimidating and the volume of the work was overwhelming. I prayed about it and asked God to help me and he carried me through. I thank God for that. I also thank God that after about 2 years of being laid off my sister finally found her a job and she has 3 kids. I thank God for that because now she is able to take care of her own children and I thank God for blessing me for being a help to her and her kids in the time of need.”

Stacy Finch – “I thank God for delivering me from my mental anguish! No one would believe the turmoil I went through in my mind daily telling myself that I wasn't crazy and trying my best not to hurt myself to get rid of the demons that wanted me to hurt myself. God in his word showed me that the devil is a LIAR and how he comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and that's exactly what I felt was going on inside of me. Today, I stand clear of defeating thoughts that try to keep me bound. I am loosed from satan's grips!

Tekisha Brown – “At 21 years old, I married a man who was a drug addict. When we met, he had been in recovery for four years. I didn't find out he started using again until after we were already married and I was eight months pregnant. Until this point, I had no idea of the havoc someone with an addiction could wreak on a family. I quickly found out -- missing money, pawned wedding rings, emotional abuse, inability to keep a job, being evicted from our apartment...We eventually divorced and my newborn son and I had to move in with my parents. God took this painful and embarrassing situation and blessed me with increased faith, more wisdom, and a son who is a faithful young man of God. Romans 8:28 is SO true!”

We want to thank the SWAPs who sent in their testimonies and the boldness they exhibited in being vulnerable with their stories! May God continue to bless all of us as we live out each day as a walking testimony; swapping His love, spreading His truth, seeking His patience, and showing His mighty power to the world!
