Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven; whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.” (Psalm 32:1-2)

Once a sinner always a sinner.

Isn’t this the way some people try to make us feel sometimes? You’re going to always be a thief…a home wrecker, an aborter, a liar, a drunk, a gossip, a blasphemer, a junkie, loose.

It isn’t fair the labels we place on one another because we feel our negative strongholds aren’t as bad as the next person’s. Christ died once, for all sin, so in Him we are free from the transgressions others try to place on us.

The scripture above stresses the fact that the one whose transgressions are forgiven and whose sins are covered is blessed! Christ has already forgiven our transgressions; we just need to let them go. He’s covered our sins; we just need to stop exposing them.

When will we fully give our lives over to Him instead of holding on to our sins? It gets hard sometimes, because those things are comfortable...but what's bad for us, must be purged from us! When we keep holding on to who and what we used to be outside of Christ, we diminish the forgiveness we now have, in Him.

Your sins of yesterday are covered so walk like you’re blessed! Your transgressions have been forgiven, so walk like you’re blessed! We’ve been resurrected from our old lives, and freed from negative strongholds!

Regain your freedom today by answering to saint, not sinner.
