30 Days of Love

Friday, August 29, 2014

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5)

We’re in the mood for LOVE and hope you are too! We’re kicking off our Believest Thou Are Loving theme September 1, 2014 and it will run through September 30, 2014.

Our Bibles, minds, and hearts are open to receive God’s word fully and embark upon 30 Days of Love!

As much as we would like to get together, everyday and share and indulge in scripture, it is our hope that although we are not always face to face, that we can interact on the blog and via Facebook to share what God is laying on our hearts through these scriptures. Each day let us ask ourselves:

1) What is this passage teaching me about love?
2) Do you struggle with love? How can we pray for your strength and encouragement today?
3) Believest Thou Are Loving? How will I show love today?

Click here for your free printable calendar so that you can follow along with us each day! Feel free to print it out. If you have any trouble retrieving this document, please email us at swapideas2011@gmail.com.

  1. Answers to Questions Aug 28:
    1. I’d like to suggest 2 scriptures here for my answer
    a. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen
    b. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

When has God ever disappointed? Or better yet, when we put our hope and faith in God, do we not reap the benefit of the promises He has made via His love? Is our Faith/Hope not rewarded? I say this to say God's love is forever and the fact that He chooses to love us should fill us with hope because we could never be disappointed by His love. His love is in a category of its own!

    2. Do I struggle with love? Not as much as I used to in my opinion. The reason I say that is because now I feel I have a better understanding of what it is (mostly from 1 Corinthians 13). As for prayer, just pray that I use the biblical and not my own understanding and that the biblical molds my understanding and changes it and transforms it.

3: By being compassionate and by doing better to listen.

    1. Thank you so much for your responses! They are very well thought out! We love the connection you made to God's love and our hope in Him. Knowing there's no end to His love and knowing that His love is totally matchless, gives us every reason to continue in Him.

We will definitely join you in prayer that you not rely on your own understanding, but allow the Spirit to lead you as God transforms you daily! Thanks for swapping with us, and be encouraged!
