31 Days of Walking with the Spirit: Day 20

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
(1 Corinthians 2:9-13)

  1. The Spirit teaches us the very things of God. When we want to know God's answers, it is the Spirit who reveals them to us. When we're often struggling with what to do, where to God, how to respond (or not respond); it is the Spirit who always points to the word...and the word is Jesus made flesh. Wanna know what would Jesus do, the Spirit will bring to our remembrance how to respond and live as Christ lived on this earth! It won't be be by our own frail logic, but by the divine wisdom & revelation which can only come from God! This is why some people can't understand the light that shines through you; how you can smile when the world around you is crumbling; or how you're still faithful when it seems nothing is going your way. The Spirit has placed God's desires and wisdom within us!
