In the Loop: Renewal of the Holy Spirit

Monday, February 29, 2016

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Titus 3:5)

The Holy Spirit is a person. We’ve learned this year that He leads us, loves us, and dwells within us. He is often the neglected part of the Godhead, yet His work in us, when allowed, is unforgettable!

Titus writes above that it isn’t our works that have saved us, but what happens in the water of baptism that saves mankind. It is the mercy that God extends, allowing us the time to give our lives to Him; it is the rebirth or regeneration, which happens when our sins are washed away; and it is the Holy Ghost’s work of renewal that sanctifies and renovates us as He diligently works to mold us into new creations.

We're' all about transforming our lives for the better; and what better way than allowing the Holy Spirit to renew us from the inside out!?

So, for the month of March, we will swap several Transformation Tuesday messages with you about the RENEWAL of the HOLY SPIRIT, in hopes that we will get through this month looking more like Christ!

When we wake up and experience God’s great mercy, our minds will be renewed. If we’ve slacked off on our commitments to God, our promises will be renewed. If we’ve experienced spiritual or emotional abuse and misuse, the Holy Spirit will renew our hearts and restore our ability to trust again.

Do you need a renewal? A spiritual rebirth? An uplift of encouragement? A do-over!? We do and we're ready to experience the Renewal of the Holy Spirit of God! Join us starting Tuesday, March 8, 2016 as we embark on a series of Transformation Tuesdays that will renew our power and purpose and lead us as we grow together in the Lord! ☺
