Freedom Friday: Say No Way

Friday, April 22, 2016

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Have you ever lost your way? (Got lost)
Have you ever thought you were going the right way, but later down the road, had to do a U-turn to get back on track? (Got ahead of self)
Have you ever questioned which way was the right way to go? (Got confused)

Today, we want to encourage you that if you’re looking for the direction, there is NO WAY, but through Christ Jesus! He is the beautiful word of God, who lights and directs our paths toward the Father.

The only condition is desire and belief. Just like salvation comes to those who believe (Romans 1:16) and are baptized (1 Peter 3:21); so does finding our way to the throne of grace. We must believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, otherwise we’ll continue our lives going in circle.

What or who is standing in your way today?

Is it your bills? God has got you covered! Is it your spouse? God is your Husband! Is it your job? God shall supply all of your need! Is it your thoughts? God can renew your mind!

For everything that we’re going through, Jesus is our WAY out.

This Freedom Friday, we all have the same choice to make. Will we trust Jesus enough to follow His way? SAY to your boundaries, there’s NO WAY, BUT JESUS. It may not be easy, but it is simple. A short walk towards Him will get you to where you need!

Scriptures for Reflection

Matthew 1:21 “She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else. For there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

John 10:7-9 “So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”
